The Knights of Council 4851 are excited to share the implementation of Cor, a formation and fraternal opportunity for all men of the parishes assigned to us (not just for Knights of Columbus).
To thrive as a faithful Catholic, every Catholic man needs an active and growing relationship with God, to intentionally invest in his formation and prayer life, and to build friendships that will sharpen him and hold him accountable to a life of holiness and virtue.
Cor is designed for this purpose. It exists to form and strengthen Catholic men in faith and virtue as missionary disciples by drawing them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, formation, and fraternity.
The name “Cor”, which is Latin for heart, was chosen because our faith, our relationship with God, and our formation begin with and reside in the heart. We are personally excited about this opportunity to dive deeper into our faith with our brothers in the parishes. We have the opportunity to get to know each other better, and with each other’s support, to grow in holiness and become better men - To become a better husband and father, a better brother and son.

C. Recent Activities
- Monday August 19, 2024: Silver Rose Mass and Rosary
Knights on Bikes brought the Silver Rose, representing Our Lady of Guadalupe. Knights and Columbiettes were present at the Nativity Church Chapel.
“Through the Silver Rose Program we honor not only Our Lady of Guadalupe and express the unity of the Knights of Columbus, but we also reaffirm our dedication to the sanctity of human life. It is to the Blessed Mother that we turn in prayer as we work to end the Culture of Death that grips our society. As we think in terms of ‘One Life, One Rose,’ it is most appropriate that we turn to Our Lady of Guadalupe who made known her will through Juan Diego and the miracle of the roses.” (Past Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson)
